Get lost in the Labyrinth

You are not supposed to get lost in a labyrinth. In a maze you can get physically lost, that is the point, but in a labyrinth there is a specific path to walk to the center and back again. The idea in walking a labyrinth is for personal meditation, to lose those things that are on your mind. There are many labyrinths around the world for you to find. Plan a trip to walk a labyrinth here or search for one near you here.

Labyrinths can be elaborate like the picture above from the Getty Museum Gardens in Los Angeles, or they can be as simple as a chalk drawing on your driveway. Here are ideas and instructions for creating your very own Labyrinth.
