I have learned and will learn more from my pln (personal learning network) than I will from any professional development this year. If you want to get on the pln train too, the following two sites can help.
twittername: lindseyb16
Started twitter in the summer on 08, while attending an edubloggercon “unconference” hosted the day before the Building Learning Communities Conference. It was free, so I went and then crashed a lot of the conference virtually as I was connected to many attendees via twitter. This year I intend to document and share how this personal learning network impacts my learning and professional development on a daily basis.
NETVIBES

Netvibes organizes my digital life. I can log into my netvibes page, and with one glance peruse my 4 email accounts and catch up with the ongoing twitter conversation. The public page of netvibes lets me gather together tabs of interesting information to share with others. I often change this page, easily adding, updating and hopefully improving.A recent tab includes educon21 this tab contains rss feeds for delicious, diigo, flickr, blog search. Anything tagged educon will feed into this page. During the conference, I can add links and liveblogging so that it makes it easier to conference crash, or virtually attend. Hope you find it useful.
My pln is not really about the tools though. It is about the people in it.
